| Who's a Joke? |
Saddam Hussein has denounced his trial as a comedy. So who is laughing? The judge who has shut down the court (read adjourned until April) ?
Saddam has been told numerous times to stop playing politics and focus on the issue of the massacre of shi'te muslims.
His response:
"Oh mighty people, I am still your faithful son, oh Iraqi people ... I am still your sword, and despite what has happened to my people, to me, to my comrades because of the criminal occupants, I shall be patient, it's only a question of time until the sun rises and you will be victorious."
I guess that depends on the definition of victory. |
