I don't view the big island as a new Hawaii because it's too far away. Look at it - all the way on the far side of the map. Plus it has snakes. As an American, I'm glad we put it over there where it's out of the way.

As far as how this american see's your world--I can barely read it! And where is New Zealand--that's the island(s) nation down under I want to visit--the have snow and skiing!
